What dental anesthesia services do you offer at Dulac Dental of Springfield?
I recently expanded and created a dental anesthesia suite and partnered with a local anesthesia provider, Dr. Davis, a board-certified anesthesiologist, to provide sedation and general anesthesia in my office. If you want to go to sleep for your treatment, give us a call.
This is an unmet need in the area that is very expensive, and I'm looking to bring more patients into the office and bring the price down. I'm also looking to bring other providers into the space too, so if your dentist wants to do your dentistry and you want your dentist to do your dentistry, but you want to go to sleep for it, have them give me a call. They can use my space, put you to sleep, and do your care in my space.
What patients can be recommended for dental anesthesia?
I want to make this something that's more accessible to more patients so people can get the dental exam and dental treatment they need, because I understand a lot of patients have fear and anxiety about going to the dentist. I have a hygienist who has a child who's on the spectrum. I understand that there are patients who need to be sedated for their safety to get their work done.
Telling someone to go to the hospital to get their work done, or saying, "I don't know where you can get it done," is not a very high level of care or concern for the patient. I expanded my suite and made a bigger room for the anesthesiologist so you can fit in there, and I have a full respirator, all the medications, and everything you need to be safely put to sleep in an outpatient setting.
What will my appointment look like if I get dental anesthesia at Dulac Dental of Springfield?
The anesthesiologist will go over your medical history, make sure it's safe for you, and make sure it's a good option for you. He'll put you to sleep, I'll come in and do the dentistry, and then he'll wake you back up.
This is something that I'm really passionate about bringing to more patients and bringing the cost down in the area.
